Our traditional stone cottage in the heart of rural France is the ideal setting for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. Set in an acre of gardens it has been lovingly restored & furnished simply with stylish décor to provide comfortable accommodation for two. The perfect place to unwind.
The cottage is located in a small hamlet approximately 25 minutes walk / 2 minutes drive away from the village of Briantes and 10 minutes drive from the small market town of La Chatre.
In Briantes there is a small epicerie, café and post office. In La Chatre there are numerous restaurants and bars, shops, banks, a swimming pool, a cinema, museums and a lively market every Saturday.
The surrounding areas are ideal for many activities such as walking, cycling, swimming, boating, bird watching, horse riding, and golf etc. Places of interest include lakes, chateaux, museums, vineyards (local wines include Sancerre, Chateaumeillant.) and throughout the year there are various fetes and festivals from the Pumpkin Fair to the Chopin festival in the home of George Sand, Nohant. La Chatre is within an hours drive of Argenton, Bourges & Chateauroux.

Grenier (approx. 7x5m) : Open plan bedroom / dressing room. Metal framed double bed*, wardrobe & chests of drawers, sofa, exposed roof beams, stone floor, balcony overlooking garden, en-suite bathroom** with bath & shower.
Exterior : Sole use of gardens (approx. 1 acre). Garden furniture, barbecue.
Welcome hamper on arrival. Well behaved dogs welcome.
